Dentistry

The focus at Elevate Pet Wellness Center is prevention and this includes oral health and hygiene.

Our pets are skilled at hiding discomfort and oral pathology is no exception. It is estimated that 50-80% of our dogs and cats experience dental disease as adults and this number tends to be higher in senior pets.

If a dogs prayers were answered, bones would rain from the sky.

Our comprehensive oral health plan includes:

Diet

There are specific nutrients which are immensely beneficial for oral health. This can include optimal calcium and phosphorus levels, antioxidants such as Vitamin C and appropriate moisture levels for hydration.

Brushing

This is the most beneficial thing we can do for our pets, but perhaps the most difficult! We love to demonstrate brushing and troubleshoot obstacles to a brushing plan.

Supplements

There are specific nutrients which are immensely beneficial for oral health. This can include optimal calcium and phosphorus levels, antioxidants such as Vitamin C and appropriate moisture levels for hydration.

Chews

Chews benefit pets of all ages! Teething puppies find relief in chewing as well as helps with distraction and focuses attention and energy on fun chews. Adult and senior dogs find chewing to be mentally calming or meditative as well as the benefit on their oral health. We love to discuss optimal chews for your pet!
